De presidentsverkiezingen in de Verenigde Staten worden nu ook via de zoekmachine Google uitgevochten. Er is een ware strijd uitgebroken tussen de twee presidentskandidaten op het trefwoord "president".John Kerry is volgens Google DE autoriteit als het gaat om de mogelijke aanstaande president. Op nummer 1 is natuurlijk de site van het witte huis te vinden, maar op nummer 2 staat John Kerry boven de huidige President George W Bush.

Voorheen werd er ook al met Google modder gegooid door over en weer Googlebombs naar beide kampen de gooien. Zo is John kerry ook wel te vinden als Waffles en George W Bush als een echte miserable failure
