«Google Nexus One» (Google)
De Google Nexus One is de eerste mobiele telefoon die door Google zelf op de markt is gebracht. Tijdens een persconferentie in Mountain View presenteerden Google en smartphonefabrikant HTC samen de Nexus One. De aankondiging van Googles smartphone kwam destijds zeker niet als een verrassing; algemeen werd aangenomen dat de telefoon op 5 januari 2010 zou worden gepresenteerd. De officile aankondiging van de Nexus One, volgens Google de eerste in een serie, volgde op een periode van speculaties.
De Nexus One is ontworpen en wordt geproduceerd door telefoonfabrikant HTC.
De telefoon was vanaf de introductie alleen nog maar in de VS te koop, los of in combinatie met en T-mobile abonnement. De verwachting was destijds dat de telefoon in Europa door Vodafone gedistribueerd zou gaan worden.
